Get to know Cardiologist Dr. Hamid M. Nia, who serves patients in Hackensack, New Jersey.

Dr. Nia, a board-certified cardiologist, is affiliated with Hackensack Meridian Health Hackensack University Medical Center in New Jersey. Back in 1993, Dr. Nia earned his medical degree from the Tehran University of Medical Sciences in Iran. Upon relocating to the United States, he completed his residency in internal medicine at St. Joseph’s Hospital & Medical Center. Following this, he completed his fellowship training in cardiovascular disease and interventional cardiology at Seton Hall University School of Health and Medical Sciences. A Fellow of the American College of Cardiology and a Fellow of the Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions, the doctor is board-certified in general cardiology, interventional cardiology and nuclear cardiology by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM).
